Paper Abstract:
|
This study took the online-library communityaNobii as the research subject and discussed the community members of
different types, their performance of personal styles and development of social relationships. Citing the types of onlineconsumption
community member which up by Kozinets (1999), this study adopted purposive sampling to recruit 20
respondents to conduct in-depth interviews. The study findings make up the lack of pertinent literature and turn into the
reference of the follow-up research. The major findings included: (1) The result fell into four types and made rudimentary
descriptions of it. The four different types ware as below: informative users, functional users, value producers, and
emotion desirers. (2) Their purposes of participation differ from the consumption communities whose intentions are to
get information. The members of aNobii aim at sharing opinions and finding people to have the same taste. Moreover,
different types of members share in different ways, too. |
